We want you to be part of the progress! We decided to document our actions to inspire and encourage you, whoever you are and wherever you are, to make a difference in your world, or to join and assist us.
We are young people and students (Grade 8-12) from Kwantebeni Comprehensive High School in KwaNyuswa Botha’s Hill, in KwaZulu-Natal. The school is situated in the beautiful Valley of a Thousand Hills. We are making a difference in our community, fighting against poverty and an uneducated generation. When we combine our efforts we can serve many families around us.
Since 2010 we have been running a feeding scheme for children in our school who did not have any food, or money to buy food at school. The government has now taken over the feeding scheme. Now we can focus our attention on expanding the concept of a vegetable garden at each home in the community and on assisting those who cannot afford school fees and do not have proper school uniforms.
